I am not sure if anyone has noticed, but Google has been changing a lot, and with these changes, there are no more freebies.
As of September 2023, Google made everyone add a billing payment to their account and then gave everyone a one-time credit. Our credit has run out, and Google has started billing us USD$130.00 per month, and rising for Google Maps.
I suggest edirectory look into adding an alternative map such as Open Street Map
https://www.openstreetmap.org/, which has come a long way and is just about as good as Google Maps. I purchased a small map programme to test this out, and it looks very much like Google Maps. You can see this here:

Making this change would allow us to use all the map functions without the worry of getting a big bill from Google every month. It would keep money in our pocket rather than in Google’s, and the map can be viewed from every country; currently, a few countries still block Google.
I have removed Google Maps from my free accounts and only have it available for paid accounts, however, we are still being charged. There are two charges Google is billing with Google Maps: 1. Dynamic Maps Usage and 2. Geocoding Usage.
