What's new

1. The combination of modules (listings, events, classifieds, banners and articles) and levels are now called Products.

2. Admin section Manage Levels & Pricing fully updated to Products & Plans

   • Manage Products

     • Ability for site owners to create up to 10 types of products for listings, events and classifieds.

     • Ability for site owners to define products that will be available for subscribed members only (paywalled content).

   • Manage Plans

     • Ability for site owners to create unlimited plans to advertise products on the website.

     • Plans can be defined with a free trial. (available for Stripe only)

     • Ability for site owners to define up to two pricing models per plan, with several renewal cycles, including:

       • Weekly

       • Biweekly

       • Monthly

       • Quarterly

       • Semiannual

       • Annual

       • One time payment

     • Plans can offer different combinations of products, including the ability to offer unlimited products and specific listing templates per plan.

     • Plans can give access to paywalled content.

   • Additional Settings & Payment Gateways

     • Simplified interface to manage additional settings related to payment gateways, currency, tax, and more.

     • Ability to enable the usage of the Paywall functionality on the website.

3. Blog posts can be set as paywalled individually when the Paywall feature is enabled.

4. Promotion codes can be created to be available for specific plans.

5. New page Subscriptions under Revenue Reports section where site owners can manage subscribed members.

6. Checkout process completely redesigned and simplified on three steps (user identification, checkout form and payment confirmation)

   • Pages for each step are available on the Page Editor for full customization.

7. Claim process completely redesigned to fit the new process of subscriptions sign up.

   • The page that starts the process is available for edition on the Page Editor.

8. Email notifications updated to reflect the new approach of subscriptions and plans

   • Renewal reminder emails updated to work with subscriptions instead of individual listings.

9. Modules preview on the site manager updated

   • Pop up Change status replaced by a dropdown, simplifying the process of changing the status.

   • The plan assigned to the product is now listed.

   • Categories of the product are now listed.

10. The renewal date for products is inherited from the subscription to which they are assigned, but can be customized individually by the site owner.

11. Site owners are able to activate products, including defining a renewal date, even though they are not assigned to a subscription.

12. Five new widgets available on the Page Editor to promote plans

    • Single plan Card

    • Pricing & Plans Cards

    • Pricing & Plans cards with custom description

    • Pricing & Plans cards with topics (Type 1)

    • Pricing & Plans cards with topics (Type 2)

13. Sponsors dashboard updated with new user flow for users to sign up for plans, manage their subscriptions and add content.

What's changed

1. Site owners will no longer be able to charge for individual products. A plan should be created offering the product, or a combination of products.

2. Popular plans (previous levels) are now configured per widget basis on the Page Editor.

3. Site owners will no longer be able to define prices for additional categories for listings. All listings can have up to 20 categories.

4. Site owners will no longer be able to define different prices for listing templates.

5. Payments with 2CheckOut and PayFlow Link are no longer available.

6. Approval requirements options on the General Settings section updated with new options to control how the status of products will be updated according to the subscription they belong to.

7. Simplified interface for Administrator E-mail under E-mail Sending configuration section.

8. Feature Packages, previously available under the Promotions & Packages section are no longer available. 

9. The following E-mail notifications were removed

   • Listing Signup

   • Event Signup

   • Banner Signup

   • Classified Signup

   • Article Signup

10. Promotional codes are no longer available for individual products. They are now applied on plan subscriptions only.

11. Product type upgrades are no longer available.
